Richie Duque

Richie is a first generation Colombian filmmaker from Long Island, New York and is also the Founder of Oneonefive.  His past five years working for non-profit "The Creative Mind Group" has brought him to the world's premiere film festivals, consistently connecting him with the most promising young directors around the globe.  His experience directing music videos appearing on MTV Asia, Vice, VEVO, and his freelance work for National Geographic, Rolling Stone, and The Cannes Film Festival influenced him to structure Oneonefive as a company dedicated to its directors' diverse voices. His passion is largely in narrative work, usually favoring a kinetic doc-like realism with impressionistic visual flourishes highlighting the beauty below the surface of working-class characters' mundane life. You can find him at the nearest Cassavetes Retrospective or playing the entire Sun Kil Moon discography on repeat.
