A Lonely Hymn
Synopsis
Two brothers accompany their mother to clean an old decrepit house in a remote area. When the power goes out and she leaves to go find help, the children decide to go find her and end up getting lost in the night. In an elegiac tone, the film explores class distinctions, the curiosity of childhood, fear of abandonment, and the overwhelming feelings brought on by the night.
